President Mahama Appoints Mr. Musah Ahmed as New Judicial Secretary

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Mr. Musah Ahmed as the new Judicial Secretary to the Judicial Service of Ghana.

A statement issued by the Judicial Service announced that Mr. Ahmed’s appointment takes immediate effect, following the retirement of the former Judicial Secretary, Justice Cynthia Pamela Addo.

Mr. Ahmed, a seasoned legal practitioner with years of experience in the public service, has served in various capacities within the Judicial Service before his appointment. His extensive legal expertise and dedication to justice are expected to enhance the administrative and operational efficiency of the Service.

The Judicial Service expressed confidence in Mr. Ahmed’s ability to uphold the principles of professionalism, integrity, and fairness that underpin Ghana’s justice system. His appointment is also seen as a step toward strengthening reforms aimed at improving justice delivery across the country.

Stakeholders in the legal fraternity have welcomed the appointment, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of Mr. Ahmed’s competence and long-standing contribution to the judiciary.
