A health walk organised by the Volta Regional Coordinating Council in partnership with the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) has set the stage for activities ahead of the 7th Volta Trade and Investment Fair scheduled for 26th November to 8th December, 2025 in Ho.
The walk, held under the theme “Healthy People, Healthy Region,” brought together staff of public institutions, private sector organisations, and members of the public in a show of unity and wellness.
Participants began the early morning walk from the Ho Teaching Hospital, popularly known as Trafalgar, and moved through Housing, Ho Station and OLA Senior High School. They continued to the Civic Centre before finally converging on the Ho Sports Stadium, where they engaged in an extended aerobic session led by fitness instructors.

The initiative was aimed at promoting healthy living, team bonding, and community spirit as the region gears up for the highly anticipated fair, which will bring together local and international businesses to showcase investment opportunities in the Volta Region.
Officials from the Coordinating Council urged residents to take advantage of the fair to explore emerging prospects in trade, tourism, and industry.
Saturday’s walk marks the first in a series of activities lined up to build momentum for the 7th Volta Trade and Investment Fair, which opens formally on 26th November, 2025.
