The Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has distributed 15,000 exercise books to pupils across the constituency as part of his commitment to supporting education and providing essential learning materials.
The beneficiaries include transitional students from Primary 1 and 6 as well as JHS 1 and 3 in all public schools in the Ho municipality.
Speaking at the presentation, Hon. Kpotosu said education remains the foundation of the future, and the gesture was to give learners the tools they need to succeed. “These exercise books are more than just pages. They represent hope, ambition, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead of our children,” the MP remarked.

He urged parents and teachers to nurture a love for learning in children, adding that the initiative was only the beginning of greater support for schools in the constituency.
The Ho Municipal Director of Education, Dr. Esther Adzo Adzimah-Yeboah, expressed gratitude to the MP, describing the intervention as timely. “We want to say a very big thank you to the Honourable MP for his kind gesture. And as Oliver Twist would say, we want more in terms of learning materials, uniforms, sandals, and school bags,” she noted.
Dr. Adzimah-Yeboah also advised students to make good use of the books, focus on their studies, and embrace critical thinking under the new standard-based curriculum.

The distribution of the books is expected to improve access to learning resources and enhance teaching and learning outcomes across public schools in the Ho Central constituency.
