The Ministry of Health has announced plans to commence a nationwide recruitment of health professionals effective April 16, 2026, following the granting of financial clearance.
A statement signed by the Spokesperson for the Ministry, Mr. Ton Goodman, said the recruitment exercise will be decentralised and conducted at the district level based on verified vacancies.
According to the statement, the process will be competitive and transparent, and guided by an approved quota system across all cadres and year groups. It added that all recruitments will be undertaken within approved budgetary limits.
The Ministry has advised qualified health professionals to monitor official Ministry of Health and district health administration platforms for vacancy announcements and detailed application guidelines.
Prospective applicants are also encouraged to prepare the necessary documentation and credentials ahead of the recruitment exercise.
The statement further noted that the financial clearance for the recruitment is valid until December 31, 2026, and all recruitment activities must be completed within the stipulated period.
The Ministry is urging all eligible professionals to take advantage of the opportunity to contribute to strengthening healthcare delivery across the country.
