Ghana Broadcasting Corporation’s Volta Star Radio in the Volta Region has officially launched its 30th Anniversary Celebration, marking three decades of dedicated public service broadcasting, impactful journalism, and unwavering commitment to community development in the Volta Region and beyond.






The launch brought together management, staff, distinguished guests, traditional leaders, development partners, and loyal listeners to reflect on the station’s journey since its establishment on November 16, 1996.
The station has made immense contribution to national development through credible news, education, and entertainment.










The anniversary celebration is expected to feature a series of activities aimed at celebrating the station’s rich legacy while strengthening its bond with the communities it serves.



As Volta Star Radio celebrates this significant milestone, it reaffirms its commitment to delivering quality public service broadcasting and remaining the trusted voice of the people for generations to come.
