The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ho Central Constituency, Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has announced a fully funded scholarship program for postgraduate studies in the sciences. The scholarship, which covers tuition fees, accommodation, and other expenses, aims to promote academic excellence and support the development of skilled professionals in the region.
According to Hon. Kpotosu, the scholarship program is open to students who have completed their first degree and are seeking to pursue Master’s or doctoral degrees in the field of science at a Ghanaian university. The MP’s office will provide stipend to beneficiaries to support their living expenses during the study period.
The MP also emphasized the importance of education, citing initiatives such as the distribution of textbooks to students and a “Go to School” project. This project provides school uniforms to students, replacing torn ones to boost their confidence and motivation to attend school.

Addressing Water Challenges
In addition to the scholarship program, Hon. Kpotosu highlighted efforts to address water challenges in the constituency. Mechanized boreholes have been provided in some areas to ensure access to clean and portable water, significantly improving the lives of residents.
